In Eega, his body language was used to project the animated fly as saying 'Basthi me sawal' to the antagonist (Sudeep). Now actor Nani is all set to do a bodacious role in Samuthirakani's next. Nani has been quoted as saying that this is a most challenging role.

There is an episode in the film which requires him to be more brawny than a six-packs hero. Well, Samuthirakani's actors - be it male or female – have to show immense strength in one scene or another, though it may be less of a challenge doing the rest of the film. Naresh's convulsing act in Sangharshana and the climax scene of Shambo Shiva Shambo are the best examples.

This is a bi-lingual film. While the Telugu version stars Nani, the Tamil version has Jayam Ravi as the main lead. Amala Paul is the heroine of both the versions. The film was recently launched, the regular shooting of which will commence in August.

GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. After Naan Ee's popularity in Tamil, and an award which he recently won at the SIIMA for the ‘Rising Star of South India’ category, Nani is poised to become a Kollywood regular.
