Rojulu Marayi, a film co-written by Maruthi, is hitting the marquee on July 1. The film's trailer and the supposed subject have already managed to generate curiosity in the audiences. In this context, Dil Raju has already said that the intention was never to show girls in poor light. A love story involving two pairs, the film boasts of story and screenplay by Maruthi, while the dialogues are by Ravi Varma Nemburi.
Speaking on how Dil Raju joined hands with him, Maruthi says, "When we wanted to cast Parvatheesham and Tejaswini together, we learnt that their dates are with Dil Raju garu. We approached him to get their dates, but when he heard the story, he joined our project."
Has Maruthi supervised the making by being present on the sets? "Since I was busy with the shoot of Babu Bangaram, I couldn't visit the sets of Rojulu Marayi. But looking at the final product, I can say that the director has made it in the best possible way," Maruthi quips.
He further speaks on what triggered the idea. "I had once read that a few girls killed a boy. I conceived this idea in that moment. There are thrilling aspects to this screenplay," he says. In his true style, Maruthi says, "Love has become a sort of selecting a dress in a mall. We have made this film with the wish that love doesn't become like that."
Wait for July 1 to know how far the director has conveyed the point!
