Roja loses cash

Roja, the yesteryear heartthrob who is known for her beautiful smile, was in a state of shock on Tuesday night, when she found that Rs 2.6 lakh cash was missing from her bag.
The actress, who was to attend a function in Kerala, took a flight from Chennai to Coimbatore on Tuesday night. She said she was having the cash in her handbag.
On reaching the textile city by a private airlines, she found that the cash was missing and immediately complained to the police, who had launched a detailed enquiry.
She left for Kerala through car later, it is said. Roja, who made her entry in the tinsel town with 'Sembaruthi' in the early 1990s, married the film's director R K Selvamani later. She is now an active politician in Andhra Pradesh.
