In what has been the lowest phase of his career, Nara Rohit, for long, hasn’t signed up for any new project other than his Banam director Chaitanya Dantuluri’s period drama Anaganaga Dakshinadilo. Realizing that his first director’s project requires ample time at the pre-production level, the actor, who last had a release, the box-office washout, Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu, more than 10 months ago, has started listening to other scripts, okaying new director Satish’s film in the process. It’s a fantasy thriller and the actor was convinced by the story in the first sitting itself.
He believes it’s a welcome change for him from the films he has been associated so far and given the evolving tastes of audience; he decided it’s the best bet for him after the long break. As it is set on a large scale and not keen on compromising on the vision of the director, he is likely to double up as the film’s producer too. In addition, it requires the actor to go for a make-over from head to toe and he is game for it. We now hear he has green-lit new director Satish’s fantasy thriller.
