Rohit Shetty is considered to be the best action film director of Bollywood. He is particularly known for his action packed cop dramas titled 'Singham' and 'Simmba'. Rohit has a vision of a bigger picture and his upcoming film 'Sooryavanshi' is going to realise that vision. The film is going to bring together characters of Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh from 'Singham' and 'Simmba' to unite with Akshay Kumar's character.

Apart from his grand scale cop universe, Rohit has plans to make a move towards OTT platforms as well. He is rumored to bankroll a cop based web show of around eight episodes for Amazon Prime Video. His assistant director Sushwanth Prakash is set to helm the project. The show will be based on real events with Rohit Shetty acting as the show runner and creator.

The writing phase of the pre production has already started and Rohit Shetty is in talks with stars like Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra for the lead role. The project might get an official announcement in coming weeks.
