Rohit Shetty cannot make woman-centric film: Anurag Basu

'Barfi' filmmaker Anurag Basu opens up saying that action director Rohit Shetty cannot make a female-centric movie. He recently said, "Personalities of actors and directors reflect the kind of work they do. It is only, Anand L Rai who can make 'Tanu Weds Manu', Vikas Bahl who can do 'Queen'. But someone like Rohit Shetty cannot do 'Queen'. It depends on the kind of person you are and the way you see women." He also added saying, "For example, Salman says some dialogues which Shah Rukh will never say."

Anurag Basu was speaking at a session tilted 'Female protagonists in Bollywood Today - How Real is the Discourse' at the ongoing NFDC Film Bazaar. When he opened up saying so much! Basu also thinks that they should be more of women directors and writers needed in the industry. Who can focus on films that provide female-centric movie.
