In his match-winning 104-run knock in the ICC World Cup match against Bangladesh in Birmingham on Tuesday, Rohit Sharma accidentally hit one of his fans in the stands when he hit a six.
Rohit personally checked up on the fan post the match and gifted her an autographed hat. The opener's kind gesture has been appreciated by many. BCCI posted a picture of the same with the caption, "She got hit by a @ImRo45 maximum and the opener was kind enough to check on her and give her a signed hat."
Rohit Sharma smashed his 26th ODI century in the match with an incredible 180-run opening partnership with KL Rahul. Jasprit Bumrah's 4 wickets and Hardik Pandya's 3 wickets further helped India in defending the creditable 315 total.
