Superstar Rajinikanth's fan base is so huge that it transcends beyond the boundaries of caste, creed, language and religions. He continues to attract even five year olds with his unique acting styles and his fans never tolerate any negativity targeted at him. Bollywood actor Rohit Roy was at the receiving end of severe backlash as he posted a joke about Rajinikanth and Corona.

Rohit Roy had posted "Rajinikanth tested positive for Corona and now Corona is now under quarantine". His intention was of course to show that the virus should be fought as he captioned the pic "Let’s beat the shit outa the corona!! Be safe when u get back to work! Wear your masks n keep washing n sanitizing several times a day, as much as possible... The virus can’t affect us unless WE LET IT !"

Fans apparently did not see the joke in this and after severe backslash Rohit responded '"Guys chill... don't be so morose! A joke is a joke and sorry, I don't think it's in bad taste. It's a typical Rajni sir joke and my intention was to make you guys smile. Look at the intention before you start commenting. At least, I didn't crack a joke to hurt you all like you all are posting messages deliberately to hurt me."

Fifty-two year old Rohit Roy has acted in several Bollywood films and television serials whose current film is 'Mumbai Saga' directed by Sanjay Gupta.
