Rohini Molleti, who played Prabhas' mother in 'Baahubali', has been seen in recent times in films like 'Writer Padmabhushan' and 'Sridevi Sobhan Babu'. The former is expected to fetch her an award, given her nuanced portrayal of a housewife whose dreams have been repressed.

The news is that, marking International Women's Day, an independent song was brought out in Tamil. It's Rohini who penned its lyrics. She also shared Telugu lyrics on social media for the benefit of her followers: నా కోరిక సెలయేరంచులనే నడక; నా కోరిక కొత్త కొత్త అనుభవాల మాలిక; మంచు మేఘాలనే అందుకో చిన్ని చిన్ని ఆశలే అల్లుకో.

Titled 'En Virupam' in Tamil, the song is an earnest tribute to some of the women achievers who have been newsmakers in recent times.

Rohini was seen in recent years in films like Naga Shaurya's 'Varudu Kaavalenu', Nithiin's 'Rang De', Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' and Nani's 'V'. Last year's 'Ante Sundaraniki' had her in an important supporting role.
