'Rockstar' is all set to take a very good start at the box office. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer arrives over a year after his last flick 'Anjaana Anjaani' and is carrying good all around reports. In fact if not for 'Ra.One' euphoria which robbed each and every other film of at least two weeks worth of promotion, 'Rockstar' would have been super-hot by even greater margin. However, one must credit the team of 'Rockstar' to have actually managed well in keeping their head high and ensure that momentum remained steady for it's promotion.

As things stand today, the film should take over 70% opening at the box office and nett not less than 30 crores in the opening weekend. Youth has warmed up to the film already and there is good curiosity amongst people across different age groups to give it a dekko. Moreover with audience being hungry to watch a good film and no new release for a fortnight ahead, 'Rockstar' can well expect a dream run if it indeed turns out to be a good product.

There are no doubts around that since the man at the helm of affairs, Imtiaz Ali, has a good track record so far and with 'Jab We Met' and 'Love Aaj Kal' behind him, he has managed to accumulate a fan base of his own. While 'Rockstar' would comfortably surpass the overall run of 'Love Aaj Kal' as well as 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' (both of which netted over 60 crores), all eyes are on whether the film would end up being yet another 100 crores affair of the year.
