He has absolutely rocked in ‘Bhajarangi’ doing the role of ‘Rakthaksha’. The struggle, pains what Lokesh had taken in transforming as a baddie trouble shooter to his opponent Rana and then for Krishne is stunning. The physical growth Lokesh of Lokesh, the tooth he has adjusted to give a womanizer role is what earns him applauds. The range of Lokesh in his first lengthy role is also unexpected surprise for the audience in ‘Bhajarangi’.

Lokesh made a small appearance in Shivarajakumar ‘Shiva’ and was mesmerized with his energy. He continues in a bigger role in ‘Bhajarangi’ is interesting to note. He is guarded by Shivarajakumar from the birth in the film ‘Bhajarangi’ but the plan hatched by villain gang connecting presumed to be son of Bhajarangi is different. Once this guy grows joins the Rana gang and kills his own father Bhajarangi. The actual son of Bhajarangi is elsewhere. This is what revealed by Rana in the film. The dubbing and looks of Lokesh are stunning. His encounter with Daiva Kanya Krishne played by Rukmini Vijakumar is also absorbing.

Lokesh is a stage actor. After college studies he jumped to theatre plays. It was from his performance in one of the stage plays director Harsha picked him for his film ‘Bhajarangi’. In ‘Savari’ and ‘Mathe Mungaru’ also Lokesh got offers from his theatre connections.

For grooming to the role of ‘Rakthaksha’ I was given time and support required for it remembers Lokesh. In his horse ride Lokesh fell twice and was advised rest for one month.

‘Bhajarangi’ has opened up a new life for two more actors Madhu Guruswamy and Chetan. Like Lokesh the two actors have given their best and got noticed.
