After having a moderately successful run in theatres, R Madhavan's latest release 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' is now all set to come out on a digital platform. It will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 26th of July. Directorial debut of Madhavan, the film is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongly accused of espionage.

It took Dr Nambi Narayanan around two decades of enduring legal battle to prove his innocence. R Madhavan took this upon himself to tell this tragic story to the world and treated this film as his passion project. Talking about the box office performance, film's opening was underwhelming but it soon picked up pace owing to strong word of mouth publicity.

Couple days ago, Madhavan had taken to his Twitter account to share a pic of team Rocketry with Dr Nambi Narayanan celebrating the success of their film. The caption on his post read, "When Success translates to Happiness and the whole family celebrates together.The true meaning of this photo will only be realized by those who know Nambi sirs family and what they went thru.For me – Mission accomplished with gods grace."
