Trust the intense actor R. Madhavan to come up with the most powerful films and roles even though he makes fans wait for ages to catch him up on the big screen. This time he is back with a bang immersing deep in history to bring to life the story of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan who was wrongly accused of espionage and jailed in 1996 until the Supreme Court pronounced him innocent in 1998.
The teaser briefs us on the 19 attempts that the US made spending 671 million USD and Russia's 16 attempts draining 117 million USD to launch a rocket to Mars. India in 2014 spent 74 million USD and sent a successful mission to the Red Planet in the first attempt itself. We get Maddy as Nambi Narayanan handcuffed in prison saying "My name is Nambi Narayanan, I have lived 35 years in Rocketry and 50 days in prison. In those fifty days my country had faced a huge setback and irreplaceable loss and the story is about that and not about me.
Then the goosebump-raising caption " Sometimes a man wronged is a nation wronged" plays on the screen. Madhavan debuts as director along with Ananth Mahadevan to tell this much relevant tale jointly produced by Tricolour Films, Vargheese Moolan Pictures and Saffron Ganesha Entertainment. The teaser is an absolute sell foretelling a compelling film that would sure find its way to top of every movie lovers must watch list.
