Yash Raj Films ÂRocket Singh - Salesman Of The Year is coming up this week on 11th. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor along with debutant Shazahn Padamsee. One can see a never before Ranbir in this one, where he grew a real beard specially for the filmÂs character as a Sardar. It was very important to feel the character first, later you automatically start living him, stated the young actor. It is said that before starting the shoot the director Shimit Amin and screenwriter Jaideep Sahni had held workshops for 30 days for the entire cast and the crew.
Rocket Singh tells the story of a young sardar called Harpreet Singh Bedi, who dreams of having an exciting career in spite of scoring poor marks in graduation. He finally lands up as a salesman and tried to blend his heart ways with that of ÂprofessionalismÂ.
The film also has Gauahar Khan, Prem Chopra, Mukesh Bhatt, Naveen Kaushik and Manish Choudhari. Rocket Singh is produced by Aditya Chopra while the music is done by Salim-Sulaiman.
