The noted producer of Kannada cinema Rockline Venkatesh has furnished an alternative measure for keeping away UFO and Qube system from operation.
The wonderful statistical analysis provided by Rockline Venkatesh was good to hear. It is a case of five year plan for self reliance of a cinema industry with 500 single screen theatres.
Rockline Venkatesh read out the economic policy of the Kannada cinema industry for five years at a crucial meeting and that is a strong alarm to the existing operators.
Firstly KFCC and KFPA two invest Rs.4 crores each. From Rs.8 crores it is possible to get projector for 100 theatres. Appointing agencies from the two KFCC and KFPA the functioning would be very soft and cordial. In the third year of this operating system, KFPA and KFCC would be left with Rs.10 crores to lend Medicalim and Insurance for all the members. In the 5th year of the same operation we would be left with solid fund to start cooperative bank explained Rockline Venkatesh.
At the 5th year we would have allocated projector and server to 500 theatres with no excessive cost of screening of any language film the distributors and exhibitors acquire.
Rockline Venkatesh calculation was received in positive note by KFCC and KFPA members. This is going to be a new operating system.
It is only when the exhibitors are relieved from the contract they have signed with the UFO and Qube operators.
