Simbu after featuring in the blockbuster hit 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' directed by Mani Ratnam is has almost completed fifty percent of shooting for his next directed by Sundar C. The project bankrolled by Lyca Productions is the Tamil remake of the Telugu super hit 'Attarintiki Daredi' that had Pawan Kalyan in the lead role.

The Simbu-Sundar C untitled film has Catherine Tresa and Megha Akash as the two female leads while Ramya Krishnan, Mahat and Yogi Babu are doing important roles. The latest to join the cast is top comedian Robo Shankar who has joined the sets in Hyderabad from the 'Viswasam' set also being shot in the same city. Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi is scoring the music for this family entertainer which is expected to wrap up shooting in one go.
