The Malayalam superhit movie Baskar the Rascal` is being remade in Tamil as Bhaskar Oru Rascal` directed by Siddique who helmed the original.

The Malayalam superhit movie Baskar the Rascal` is being remade in Tamil as Bhaskar Oru Rascal` directed by Siddique who helmed the original. The film has Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul reprising the roles of Mammoottry and Nayanthara with Baby Nainikka of Theri` fame in an important role.

Robo Shankar the fast rising comedian of Tamil cinema has joined the cast of Baskar Oru Rascal` for which the shooting is in progress in Cochin and other locales in Kerala.
