Actress Oviya who had gained huge fan following with the Kamal Haasan hosted Bigg Boss game show, and following the show, she had starred in several movies like the controversial movie 90 ML, and Raghava Lawrence starrer Kanchana 3 and few other movies.

Her latest release was Kalavani 2, the sequel to her 2010 movie Kalavani which was also her Tamil debut. This movie was also directed by Sarkunam who directed the first part, and also starred Vemal, Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu, Durai Sudhakar, RJ Vignesh Kanth and many others.

Yesterday, team Kalavani 2 had organized a thanks meet for media, and all the people associated with the movie except for Oviya had arrived at the event, and the team was trying to extend the event for her arrival. Actor Robo Shankar who had not acted in Kalavani was the host of the event, and as he spoke, said that everyone knows Oviya will come late for shooting, will she come late for events too and questioned whether she will come or not. In a sarcastic manner, Robo Shankar revealed that Oviya is not punctual for shoots and trolled her.
