The coronavirus which affected Chennai residents in earlier months is now spreading fast in other districts and an average of 4000 new patients are testing positive each day. In Thanjavur district patients from the neighboring towns of Orathanadu, Peraavoorani have been admitted in a newly constructed housing board that has been converted into a care center in Patttukottai.

Actor Robo Shankar along with his associate Dindigul Senthil made a surprise visit to the COVID 19 hospital situated in the Perumal Kovil, New Road area in Pattukottai. The duo entertained the patients doing mimicry and a skit and laughter was heard from all corners.

The hospital management told newsmen that Robo Shankar took the permission of the concerned authorities and his gesture was widely appreciated by all as the patients who were under stress became relaxed after his visit.
