It seems like the relationship between the Twilight actor and the singer is fizzling slowly but surely. But as previously reported by many tabloids, it`s not because of Katy Perry.

A source close to the couple reveals that the couple has been dealing with some issues and are trying`extremely hard` to make things work, despite their busy schedule.

The source says “Rob and Twigs are on a break, they`ve been having problems for a while and it`s got nothing to do with Katy, she would never get in the middle of his relationship. And there`s still a lot of hope that Rob and Twigs will fix this,”

The source continues to say “ Rob definitely still wants to try. What they really need is to spend some quality time together. The problem is they`re both so insanely busy with their careers that they`re hardly ever in the same place. The only thing to blame here is their busy schedules and the long distance, not Katy,”

Well, at least it`s clear that Katy Perry is not the reason why these two love birds have broken up. It's still sad, though.
