Graham Chase Robinson, previously associated with Robert De Niro and formerly a VP at Canal Productions, testified in a New York court amid the ongoing trial concerning gender discrimination and retaliation charges against the actor.

Robinson initially worked as De Niro’s executive assistant in 2008 and later became VP of his loan-out company. In her lawsuit, she claimed De Niro subjected her to gender-biased tasks like mending clothes, vacuuming, and scratching his back. She also alleged that he used derogatory terms and paid a male counterpart more. De Niro contested this, stating her responsibilities remained the same after her promotion to VP in 2017.

During the testimony, Robinson detailed her duties, which involved managing De Niro’s schedule, purchasing meals, and running errands for him and his family. She indicated that she was on call every day, even during vacations. Robinson cited instances where De Niro used offensive language toward her and requested her to perform personal tasks beyond her job description.

Allegations included De Niro calling Robinson offensive names and demanding back scratching. She refuted claims of misusing company funds or watching Netflix during work hours. Robinson stated that De Niro and his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, influenced her termination from her role in the townhouse project, which she deemed unrelated to her professional duties.

Following her resignation, Robinson requested severance, fearing damage to her career without De Niro’s recommendation. The trial is set to continue until November 10th.
