On social media, a startling video of burglars rejoicing after plundering a business has gone viral. Posted on Instagram, the CCTV clip shows a group high-fiving each other following safe emptying. The video has sparked popular indignation since many people expect quick and forceful government response.
Sharing the videos were Robert Goukasian, a DJ and son of a jewelry store owner. The first video shows the thieves damaging the shop following their crime. "Our West Hollywood family jewelry store, spanning more than 40 years, has been broken-in. Every item in our stock has been pilfered. Both safes had been raided," Goukasian noted.
The episode happened at Huener Jewelry on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood between June 17 and June 18. According to reports, the burglars pilfers the whole inventory—including some rare items.
"First, I thought they cut a hole through the wall, and they got in and did a quick robbery, but it turned out it took more than 24 hours," Goukasian told KABC. Furthermore, he said, the alarms in the store never rang. Two visits were made by the thieves, one late at night and one early in morning.
In a comparable incident, viewers were perplexed by a video showing a burglar stealing into a bakery. Before breaking into the eatery to pilfer croissants, the offender was seen performing yoga-like stances. When we watched the security footage from a recent break-in at our Bakery Headquarters, we were really taken aback. The Australia-based bakery posted on Instagram, " Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in."
Authorities are advised to act against the offenders since the society suffers from these obvious crimes.
