Los Angeles Reel Film Festival, which came to an end recently, honoured the well-acclaimed film with not just one, but three awards!

‘Road To Sangam’ reported to have bagged the awards namely for Best Foreign Film, Best Original Score and Best Production Design. Produced under the banner of Shethia Audio Video P. Ltd., the film is presented by Shashikant Chheda.

The film’s lead is played by Paresh Rawal and Om Puri, along with Javed Shaikh, Pawan Malhotra, Swati Chitnis, G. P. Singh, Rajan Bhise, Sudhir Nema, Rakesh Srivastava, Masood Akhtar, Vijay Mishra and Yusuf Hussain.

‘Road To Sangam’ is written and directed by Amit Rai and is produced by Amit Chheda. The lyrics are done by late Allama Iqbal and Sudhir Nema while the music is by Sandesh Shandilya, Vijay Mishra and Nitin-Prem. The cinematography is by Dharam Gulati, editing by Suvir Nath, art by Narendra Bhagat, choreography by Pradeep Kalekar and action by Harish Shetty.

Earlier the film was greatly admired and had won awards at few other prestigious international film festivals.

Road To Sangam is slated to release on 29 Jan 2010.
