The 64th birth anniversary of Dr Vishnuvardhana (he died on December 30, 2009) is filled with activities on September 18, 2013.

The long stretch of 14.3 kilometers from Banashankeri Temple to Kengeri is named as ‘Dr Vishnuvardhana Road’. Governor of Karnataka Hansaraj Bharadwaj declare open the road of this stretch in the morning at temple surroundings.

Reaching the Dr Vishnu Memorial place (caught in litigation) governor of Karnataka open a surprise for the fans of Dr Vishnuvardhana. It is not acting 200 films 'Appaji' had done. It is more than that recalls son in law Anirudh.

A procession starts from temple to Memorial place assemble at 11 am on September 18. Rotary Club, Homoeopathic, Ayurvedic, general health check up, eye camp, blood donation camp takes place at this place.

Dr Nagendra Prasad, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Dr Dayanand, Solanki Eye Hospital, Dr Srinivas of a trust for medical camp in homoeopathy, Dr Krishnamurthy of Sanjeevini Neuro Hospital addressed the media on this occasion.
