Producer turned actor RK Suresh who's known for producing several successful movies in his Studio 9 banner began his acting career playing a villain in movies such as Bala's Thaarai Thappattai and Vishal starrer Marudhu.

Later RK Suresh went on to play a hero in movies like Billa Pandi. Now, RK Suresh is set to play the lead role in the sequel of the successful movie Mirugam. RK Suresh took it to social media to make an announcement on the movie sharing a photo from the Pooja of Mirugam 2.

Mirugam was written and directed by Samy and had Aadhi and Padmapriya in the lead roles. Mirugam was the Tamil debut of Aadhi, and had him playing a womanizer in a village, who is later affected by AIDS.
