If you thought director Saravana Kumar’s ‘R.K Nagar’ would be a blatant, out and out political film, then relax. The official trailer of the film has just hit the web to let us know that it isn’t so. After all, it ‘promises’ us that it would be a commercial film.

You will never accept it until the initial few political visuals surrounding the recently held RK Nagar elections pass by. But you also know that without a strong referral point to the RK Nagar election, the visuals and the film title even, would be redundant. Well, we have to wait for the feature really know it.

Even after the disclaimer that its a commercial film, the trailer has some hard questions and lines touted to suggest us, indeed there would be a layer of seriousness, and even action as well. Vaibhav who is essaying the lead role in the film is given a care free treatment but also the trailer shows where he finds himself in a sticky murder mystery. We also discern there is going to be a serious plot angle with women and safety in the film.

All in all, from the teaser and and the trailer, ‘RK Nagar’ seems to be geared with comedy, action, humour, seriousness and satire. Premgi Amaran’s music aptly shuffles between the serious and funny tones of the trailer. More expectations for his music in the film!

Apart from Vibhav in the lead, Sampath, Sana Althaf, Inigo Prabhakaran, Anjena Kirti, Sri is also essaying major roles in the film. The movie is being bankrolled by Badri Kasturi and V Rajalakshmi under the banner of Shraddha Entertainment and Black Ticket Company.
