Radio Jockey RJ Balaji, who had acted as a comedian in few movies like Idhu Enna Maayam, Devi, Naanum Rowdy thaan and Ivan Thanthiran had turned a hero this year with the movie LKG which was directed by debutant Prabhu and was produced by Vels Film International.

LKG also had story and screenplay by RJ Balaji and was a commercial success, and it has been said that he will direct a movie for the same production house again. Even before the announcement of his next movie as a lead, RJ Balaji has joined hands yet again with Vels Film International.

After acting, now RJ Balaji has turned singer for the upcoming movie Puppy which is produced by Vels Film International. The movie which has music by Dharan Kumar has a song Soththu Moottai which has been sung by RJ Balaji, and this single will be released today.
