Radio jockey turned actor RJ Balaji, known for his comedy tracks in movies like Naanum Rowdy dhaan, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam etc had turned a hero last year with the movie LKG which he had also scripted.

This year, he is set to make his debut as a director, and along with debutant NJ Saravanan had completed his debut direction venture Mookuthi Amman starring lady superstar Nayanthara recently, and the devotional movie was in post production phase before lockdown.

In a recent live interaction session named "Area Boys" hosted by cricketer Abhinav Mukund on Instagram, RJ Balaji revealed that if corona wasn't in place, Mookuthi Amman was supposed to release on May 1(today), and now corona has caused the unexpected postponement. He also urged fans to stay home and stay safe.
