RJ Balaji is a radio jockey turned actor in Tamil cinema who entered the industry as a comedian. He debuted as a lead actor in the political comedy film ‘LKG’ which emerged as a huge success. Then, he went on to act and direct super hits like ‘Mookuthi Amman’ and ‘Veetla Vishesham’.
Now, RJ Balaji is all set to kickstart his next film. As per the latest reports, the actor is pairing up with actress Shivani Rajashekar for a project titled ‘Singapore Saloon’. Director Gokul is said to be helming the upcoming film. The maker has earlier directed ‘Idharku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara’, ‘Kaashmora’ and ‘Junga’.
On the other hand, Gokul was earlier roped in to direct Simbu in ‘Corona Kumar’, which was touted to be a spin-off to ‘Idharku Thaane Aasaipattai Balakumara’. Vels Films International was supposed to bankroll the project but sources tell us that ‘Corona Kumar’ may have been dropped. Stay tuned for more updates.
