Ritu has been roped to play a lead role in Vikram's movie. This is a double bonanza, as both the director and the hero are rated among the best in the country.

Titled as 'Dhruva Natchathiram', the spy thriller was to earlier star Anu Emmanuel, who had to be shown the door as she couldn't accommodate the dates the makers had asked for her. Ritu, who had been in Gautham's good books since 'Pelli Choopulu' happened last year, was the first girl who came to his mind.
