On the occasion of Sree Vishnu's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film with director Hasith Goli revealed its title as Swag through a hilarious video. The title and the concept video have generated a lot of buzz online.
Swag marks the reunion of Sree Vishnu and Hasith Goli, who previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed film Middle Class Melodies. The movie is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad on People Media Factory, with Vivek Kuchibhotla co-producing.
On Ritu Varma's birthday, the makers introduced her character in Swag as Queen Rukmini Devi from Vinjamara Vamsham. In a character introduction video, Ritu Varma is seen mocking Sree Vishnu's comments and asserting the power and greatness of women.
Sree Vishnu, while extending birthday wishes to Ritu Varma, clarified that Swag is the story of men and Swaganiki Vamsham. The amusing video highlights the playful banter between the two actors.
Billed as an out-and-out entertainer, Swag promises to be another unique and engaging collaboration between Sree Vishnu and Hasith Goli. The film features a talented cast and crew, including Vedaraman Sankaran as cinematographer, Vivek Sagar as music director, and Viplav Nyshadham as editor.
Other members of the technical team include GM Shekar handling art direction and Nandu master choreographing stunts.
Swag is highly anticipated by fans of Sree Vishnu and Ritu Varma, and the hilarious title and character introduction videos have further piqued their interest. The film's release date is yet to be announced.
Sree Vishnu has established himself as a rising star in Telugu cinema with a string of successful films to his credit, including "Mental Madhilo" (2017), "Brochevarevarura" (2019), "Raja Raja Chora" (2021), and the recent "Samajavaragamana" (2023). Now, he is set to star in the highly anticipated film "Om Bheem Bush."
