Actress Rithika Singh the real life boxer made her acting with 'Irudhu Suttru' aka 'Sala Kahadoos'. It was quite difficult to believe the fact that it was the first film for Rithika as her performance not just in boxing scenes but also in emotional scenes was brilliant to say the least. She has become the instant favourite of Tamil cinema buffs and every critic hailed her all round performance in the film directed by Sudha Kongura.

Now to tower it all the young actress's maiden attempt has been acknowledged by the 63rd National Awards Jury committee with a Special Mention Award for Best Actress.

It is worth noting that Madhavan is the lead hero of this film and he is also the lead hero in 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' which has won the Best Actress National Award for its heroine Kangana Ranaut.

Indiaglitz congratulates Rithika and we hope to see her winning more and more awards in the coming years.
