One of the much talked about pairs of Bollywood, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D' Souza, had their 'Sangeet' ceremony at a five star hotel in Mumbai on Tuesday night. The couple will enter wedlock on Friday (3 February).

The ceremony turned out to be a glittering affair which saw several noted names of the industry, especially near and dear ones of the couple, namely – Abhishek Bachchan, Sajid Khan, Arshad Warsi, Sohail Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Milan Luthria, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Aftab Shivdasani, Gauri Khan and many others…

"Ironically me dancing on a song called "ek kunwara' hmmmmm... @Riteishd @geneliad lol (sic)," Aftab Shivdasani wrote to his tweet pals.”Off for the sangeet of my favourite couple tonight," he added.

While Shahid Kapoor shared a tweet after attending the ceremony, saying - “Went to ritesh and genelias sangeet what a lovely couple they make I'm sure they will have the cutest kids.”

Arjun Rampal tweeted – “Had a super time at @riteishd and @geneliad sangeet the acts were fab. Super energy.”

Like this, many other celebrities who took part in the event expressed their happiness on social networking and microblogging sites, and wished the star couple a happy married life.

The musical function was choreographed by Karan Johar, who have given Bollywood some of the most touching family moments and love stories through his movies. The filmmaker said to have even designed the outfit for the groom.

Riteish and Genelia have been seeing each other for more than eight years, right from the days they started their acting career. After elders in their families gave nod to their affair, they announced it in open. A fairytale like love story it is for the duo!
