On Monday morning, Riteish posted a screenshot of a portal that was filling his Instagram stories with gossip. The headline had asked, "Is Genelia D'Souza pregnant? Fans spot her baby bump as she poses with Riteish Deshmukh." Later, it was revealed that the portal had posted pictures of Genelia and Riteish from an event recently where the former was seen wearing a blue dress while Riteish's attire included a white shirt and blue pants. While clearing out such rumours, he quipped humorously, "I wouldn't mind having 2-3 more, but unfortunately this is untrue."

Riteish and Genelia married in February 2012. Hindu as well as Christian wedding ceremonies were completed. They shower their children with love, as evident from the posts on social media. Recently, they celebrated the birthdays of Riaan and Rahyl with some heartwarming photographs uploaded on social media platforms. Recently, Genelia shared a picture of her cuddling her son Rahyl on his seventh birthday with an emotional message about being there for him through all the ups and downs of life. She ended the post by saying that she loves him dearly and that his hugs mean everything to her.
