RISK: Seven days to go

Vishram Sawant’s ‘Risk’ is a big attraction for next Friday. Starring Vinod Khanna, Randeep Hooda, Tanushree Dutta, Seema Biswas and Makrand Deshpande, ‘Risk’ is said to be a cop-story-with-a-difference. The promos of the film have been generating curiosity for its cutting edge naked emotions and Tanushree’s earthen appeal. This is Vishram Sawant’s second film after the critically acclaimed ‘D’.

Vinod Khanna is making a comeback to celluloid with this film. And his smouldering look of a native don is breathtakingly molten. There’s a scene in one of the promos where he breaks down and elicits a loud cry. That literally jolts you. Talented Randeep Hooda who is playing a cop is sporting a moustache (it’s a real one that he specially grew for this role) and looks every bit a hard nosed cop. It’s difficult to believe that this dude who had a bit role along with Naseeruddin Shah in Mira Nair’s ‘Monsoon Wedding’ is playing such an intense and serious character as this.

So, ‘if ‘Risk’ is your brand of cinema…Then start counting days…It seems it will be worth the wait….
