Popular actress shuts down her dance studio

On Wednesday, actress and dancer Rima Kallingal announced that she is closing down her well-known dance institute Mamangam. Rima herself took to her social media page to announce the shutdown.
Sharing a picture from the studio, Rima wrote, “Dears, I have decided to close down the Mamangam studios and the dance classes wing after the corona fiasco hitting us. It was a labour of love and there are so many memories associated with this place. The high energy dance classes, dance rehearsals, film screenings, workshops, flood relief collection camps, debates and discussions, shootings, everything will always echo in all our hearts."
Thanking everyone she further added, "I would like to thank very single one person who has stood by me in putting this place together. Thank you team mamangam ❤️ Thank you to all the students ❤️ Thank you to all the Patrons ❤️ Thank you to all the supporters ❤️The Mamangam Dance Company will take this journey forward on stage and screens."
It was in 2014 that Rima set up her Dance institute Mamangam in Kochi.
The actress post broke the hearts of many including celebs. "To let go is the most difficult act for us humans. Today Rima, you’ve outdone yourself by showing the courage to break free from what weighs you down!! You have empowered yourself with this act of self love!! More power to you , I love you," commented actress Poornima Indrajith, who is a close pal of Rima.
