The Grammy award winner for Winds of Samsara` for the first time from Karnataka, Kannada film music composer Rickey Kej is to give 45 minutes concert from his Global Band in Alternative 17` – a program based on environment and weather protection.

Before the concert of Rickey Key, there will be seminar, exhibition, sand sculpture with organic food. The intention of this Alternative 17` is to save earth. Vinay Shinde convenor of this event is trying to rope in corporate sector for this event.

The event starts from June 2 is set in five stages. It is on world weather day that it connects people of Bengaluru. The event with corporate, NGO, educational institutions and general public participation is taking place at New Horizon Engineering College. 1000 people are expected to participate.

Vinay Shindhe after work in information technology for two decades returned from London to Bengaluru with many novel ideas. He formed CSR to progress on environmental issues – Yuvi Green, Energy Initiative`. He has initiated work in 212 villages. There are many environment based programs to happen in Bengaluru he feels.

Rickey Kej is inaugurating the event on 2nd June at 9.30 am.
