Actress Richa Pallod, who shot to fame acting opposite Vijay in Shahjahan, is making a comeback in Kollywood.

Director Raja brings back Richa to play the role of Trisha's friend in his movie Something Something, a remake of Telugu hit Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.

The Tamil version stars Jeyam Ravi in the lead role. Richa, who won the Filmfare award for the best actress for her Telugu film, Nuvve Kavali went on to act in several movies.

Unfortunately, a string of failures meant she packed her bags and tried her luck in Bollywood and Kannada films.

She acted opposite Fardeen Khan in a movie titled Kaun Hai Jo Sapnon Mein Aaya. The movie too put up a bad show at the box-office.

Back after a break, she now pins all her hopes on Something Something and is hoping for an extended career in Tamil at least now.
