It's a known fact that Richa Chadha is fond of animals and she actively participates for PETA. Recently while shooting in Mumbai for her upcoming film, Richa came across a homeless kitten.

Post her shooting she ordered her spot to get the kitten to her vanity. The actress, who took pity on seeing the young one so helpless, arranged for some water and milk to feed him. Later in the evening, once she called it a wrap and she took the kitten to a nearby vet for a general first time check up. She has fostered many kittens even in the past, and gifted one such rescue to the legendary hair artist Aalim Hakim, who named her 'Shampoo' in the past.

When contacted Richa, she said "I have always fostered kittens and animals in whichever capacity in the past, before I was famous. It gives me great joy when an abandoned stray finds a home and spreads joy in the lives of the parent family."
