A hardcore animal lover, Richa Chadha has joined hands with PETA in raising the issue of horse rides that happen in various spots in Mumbai.

We were told that Richa has written a letter to the high court regarding this. She is fumed since there was a ban on such activities given by the high court then what happened to the imposing penalties to those who cross the law. Remarked Richa, "The government has given them a year to stop the use of such carriages. But my problem is not just that; I see riders forcing horses to run in the middle of the road in Versova." It's the actress small effort in saving the chaos caused in the city and trouble the poor horses go through for this torture.

Sharing an incident, the 'Fukrey' famed actress add, "Once I saw this guy controlling two horses and it was very scary. He has been offering rides to kids and I shudder to think what will happen if the horse goes out of control. So I wanted to register a complain against them."

Richa will be next seen on big screen with the international acclaimed 'Masaan', which will release in India on July 24, 2015. She also has Jayant Gilatar's 'Chalk N Duster' on hand.
