Powerhouse actress Richa Chadda better known her bold and brash roles in films like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and ‘Fukrey’, will now have audiences witness her softer side as she steps into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Ram-Leela’ world.

Referring ‘Ram-Leela’ as a huge ticket, Richa feels lucky to have bagged the project that is helmed by a filmmaker of Bhansali’s stature. Essaying the character of Rasila, Richa stepped into the shoes of a traditional Gujarati girl, spending a significant amount of time learning the language.

Talking about her character, Richa said, "Rasila is a combination of sugar and spice, with that she is beautiful and sensual. She is traditional and binds the family together."

All praise for her director Sanjay Leela Bhansali added the actress, "I took on the part without having read the script. It is any actor's dream to work with Bhansali and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to learn from him." But she also admitted that the filmmaker is strict and a thorough professional on sets.

Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram-Leela’, starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, is scheduled to release November 15th 2013.
