Richa Chadda is class apart from all the contemporary actresses. She choses roles which allow her to showcase her range and skills as an actor. They often reflect her outspoken and bold personality. Recently, Richa shared her thoughts on the dark side of Bollywood. She didn't take any names and was very vague with her statement but it is clear what she was talking about. She insinuated how Bollywood is a imaginary place full of fake people.
She wrote in her Instagram story, "Bollywood', an imaginary address between Bandra and Goregaon. Here when people need you to do something that's detrimental to you/your health/your career, they'll tell you how good it is for you and be confident that you'll believe them. I used to believe them when I was naive."
She pointed out the hypocrisy of media when it comes to problems like nepotism. "Some press peeps will write long pieces about how nepotism ruins the industry while creepily following every pre-pubescent with a famous last name, and dissing any self-made professional in their mediocre writing, on the pretext of 'freedom of expression'.", she said.
Richa concluded by saying, "Must reform faster, if it has to survive the onslaught of OTT, VR and everything in the future. Plz smell the coffee."
