Richa Chadda becomes Cabaret girl

An old buzz had it that, filmmaker Pooja Bhatt is coming up with a venture titled Cabaret'. To be directed by acclaimed advertising professional Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, the makers were looking for the female lead. And after meeting countless actresses, they have found their choice - Richa Chadda!

Known for her bold characters till now, audience can look forward to a completely new Richa Chadda with Cabaret'. Going with the spirit of the movie, Cabaret' will not only reveal the sensual side of Richa but also her dancing aspect. Yes, the actress, who was recently seen in Tamanchey', is said to be a trained dancer in various dance forms. In the movie, she will be giving a musical tribute to the popular actresses of 70s-80s who were popular in for the cabaret genre.

Talking about this offer, an excited Richa was quoted in an interview, "I was looking for a script that exploits my dancing skills, along with giving me an opportunity to perform as an actor." The actress is all the more happy that the film is by Pooja Bhatt, who has been a big source of encouragement for Richa.
