Richa Gangopadhyay is the name in everyone’s mouth. Not just because she has been roped in to act opposite STR in ‘Osthi’, but also due to a buzz that she has replaced Andrea Jeremiah in ‘Irandam Ulagam’.

“Since there was some difference of opinion between Selvaraghavan and Andrea, she walked out of the project following which the director signed Richa alongside his brother Dhanush,” say sources.

Pointing out that Richa was not seen during the launch of ‘Osthi’ in Chennai on Monday, they add: “She is currently busy shooting for ‘Irandam Ulagam’. That’s why she was unable to make it to the function.”

Richa, the Bengali girl, is a popular name in Tollywood with ‘Leader’ opposite Rana Daggubati. Acting simultaneously with Simbu and Dhanush is expected to take her to the big league in Kollywood too.
