She states “Recently, I have done some movies in Bollywood. They`re doing alright at the box office. So, I have come down to Hyderabad to hear out some scripts and finalize some projects.”
Recently, her movie called Bank Chor was facing some issues from the CBFC as the title misleads to an informal adjective.
She explains saying “Yeah, technically, the title is just a simple one but people misunderstood that. It is a good movie though. It has a lot of comedy and it`s a lot of fun to watch. I`m sure people will like it”
She continues “The title resembles an informal word that we use in our daily lives and that`s why it was objected by CBFC.”
She was asked recently, why she is never signing up South projects even though she is from Banglore. To which she replied quickly
“I`d like to clarify that I am not from Banglore. My mom is Mangalorean and My dad is Bengali. I was born in Pune, So, yeah…”
Rhea Chakraborty then goes on to tell about her role in her upcoming flick, Bank Chor.
“I play a funny journalist in the movie. She is Bengali girl and her name is Gayathri Ganguly. It's a Larger-than-life character for me. Portraying a comedy character is Tough and I hope I gave my best” she stated.
