RGVs address to real NTR fans is provocative

Ahead of the launch of 'Lakshmi's NTR' on Friday, Ram Gopal Varma spoke at length addressing the "real fans of NTR". Provocatively, the controversial director suggested that NTR's blessings from Heaven are there only on his film, not on the ones being made by Nandamuri Balakrishna.

"Those who live for real are eternal. They may be physically dead, but they will live forever in the hearts of people. NTR garu's life is a testimony to this truism. There are some emotional episodes in his life. Some important incidents had far-reaching consequences," NTR began saying.

"It will be an insult to both Cine Kalamathalli and NTR garu to call 'Lakshmi's NTR' as just a movie. This is an attempt to stop the erasure of the truth. Many have told me different versions about Lakshmi Parvathi (NTR's second wife). I don't know whether they told me those things honestly or dishonesty. But to cast aspersions on Lakshmi Parvathi is akin to insulting NTR himself because, days before he passed away, he spoke of her with utmost respect in an interview," Varma continued.

"In making this film, I am not going by any one particular account. I have spoken to everyone from her servants, some officers, party functionaries, politicians to even her enemies. The film is not going to be made from her point of view. I am making a film on NTR, not on her. If she is a chief guest at the launch event, it's because she is a wife to NTR," RGV said.

"I can say that my film will showcase only verifiable facts. I wouldn't claim that there are no political motives behind this movie as nobody would believe me even if I say so. Whoever may make a film on NTR garu's life, but his blessings will be there only on our film," he signed off.

The film will hit the screens on January 24 next year, clashing with Krish-Balakrishna's 'NTR-Mahanayakudu'.
