Eega has made Rajamouli an icon for the likes of Ram Gopal Varma. Someone as special a director as Shankar could not resist his admiration for SS. RGV has gone a step further. "Jst saw Eega nd I think @ssrajamouli should tweet his feet for everyone to touch them!" he said on Twitter.

He is also all praise for his Raktha Charitra actor. "@kicchasudeep in Eega is so fantaaaaastic tht its difficult 2 describe in wrds..always blvd tht he's great but he surpassed my imagination. The only tragedy bout @kicchasudeep is tht most audience won't realize that he just imagined the fly nd performed nd the cg wud come later."

Keeravani's BG score is another element that RGV feels is the best in the last decade. "I don't remember hearing in a decade such innovative nd such creative background score as in 'Eega`"

As a parting shot, RGV says that Eega is for everyone from a child to an old man. "In Eega @ssrajamouli brought out the child in evry1 whthr he's 8 yrs old or 80 yrs old..congrats 2 him fr pioneering a new era in cinema!"
