Ram Gopal Varma is determined to tell the story of late NT Rama Rao's tryst with Lakshmi Parvathi, the legendary actor-turned-politician's second wife. So, he is going to make a film titled 'Lakshmi's NTR'. "I am thrilled to announce that the project will be launched on Vijayadashami," says RGV.

The film will hit the screens in the last week of January 2019. "Other details regarding the movie will be announced on Oct 19 at a press meet in Tirupathi," RGV adds. The launch event will see some surprise guests in attendance.

Tweeting provocatively, he says, "'NTR' (Krish Jagalamudi-Balakrishna's film) will end before Lakshmi Parvathi enters his life and my film will start with her entering his life". GV Films will present the potentially controversial project in association with producer Rakesh Reddy.
