With back to back disasters, Ram Gopal Varma has hit a new low in his career off late. But he is surprising everyone with the way he is selecting artists for his films based on real life incidents.

For '26/11 : India Pai Daadi' (The Attacks of 26/11), a film based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks, he selected Sanjeev Jaiswal for the role of Ajmal Kasab. Sanjeev looks very similar to Kasab and has scored brownie points for his acting in the film.

RGV is currently doing a film titled 'Killing Veerappan' with Kannada Superstar Shivraj Kumar in the lead. For this film, based on the execution of Veerappan, RGV selected a theatre actor named Sandeep Bharadwaj, who looks as scary and similar as the real Veerappan. Sandeep impressed everyone with his first look.
