Ram Gopal Varma has a peculiar way of doing things. On Sunday, he was squashing the rumour that he has been running high fever. Because of the way things are this year, some started speculating that he might have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

RGV being RGV, he booted out the rumour like a boss. Taking to Twitter, the controversial director posted a video clip of him doing weight-lifting in the gym. He wanted to visually convey that he is perfectly alright. "In the wake of malicious rumours from some media outlets, just wanted to clarify to whoever concerned that I am SUPER FIT," Varma wrote.

He added, "I am super fit and doing films non-stop. Whoever has been wishing that I be down with sickness, I am sorry to disappoint you."

RGV's latest movie announcement is 'Dangerous', starring Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly. The two actresses play lesbian lovers in the crime action drama.
